Do I need prior experience? ⌄
No. Beginner tracks start with essential forms, tools, and safe workflows. You’ll learn wedging, basic hand-building, and simple wheel fundamentals at a comfortable pace.
Are materials included? ⌄
Online courses list recommended tools; studio sessions include shared tools and clay for class projects. Specialty glazes or premium clays may be optional add-ons depending on the class.
How do I track favorite courses? ⌄
Use “Track” in the catalog. Tracked courses appear in the “Tracked” page. Tracking also enables optional reminders so you don’t miss start dates.
Can I get a certificate? ⌄
Yes. Completion certificates are available upon finishing assessments. If your course includes a final project, your certificate is issued after submission and review.
What if I miss a session? ⌄
If your class format supports it, you can catch up using the recap notes and practice prompts. For studio sessions, contact us to see whether a makeup slot is available for your cohort.
Is the wheel required for beginner courses? ⌄
Not always. Many beginner lessons focus on hand-building (pinch, coil, slab). Wheel practice is introduced as an option when the course specifically includes wheel modules.
Do you cover glazing and firing safety? ⌄
Yes. We include safe studio habits, dust control, glaze handling, and kiln basics. If you’re firing at home, we recommend confirming kiln specs and ventilation requirements with your equipment vendor.
